Vega – Jason Wedding at Ashton Gardens

I love it when I get to shoot a wedding of a friend. I went to high school with Cindy and we’ve been able to keep in touch through the years and when I heard she was getting married I was honored for her to let me be her photographer. I had met her husband one other time briefly and it was great to meet him and spend some time with him. But, who really stole the show was his grandma. She was hands down one of the funniest people I’ve met at a wedding and she loved to dance.

Home for the Holiday’s – Part 2

Last month I had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with the wonderful Halsted family when one of their sons and his family came to visit for Thanksgiving. Their other son and his family came to visit them for Christmas and I was able to take their pictures as well. Their kids were a whole lot fun to shoot. I think they had a lot of fun too and it shows. I think they would of had good smiles even if Sonic wasn’t involved.

Meet the Parkers

I recently got to take pictures of the Parker family. It was a lot of fun and I have many connections to them. First, they go to my church. Second, Wade plays on my softball team. And third, Debra does my taxes every year. They are a great family and I was looking forward to this and it did not disappoint. I also got to meet two of their sons I had never met. One of their sons got engaged a few weeks ago so I took a few pictures to commemorate the occasion.

Smith Family Photo Shoot at Pioneer Village

Today I got the opportunity shoot the Smith family at the Pioneer Village in Tomball. It is one of my favorite locations to shoot at because of it’s versatility and for the amount of different looks at this one place. I had a lot of fun doing this.   I got some pretty good pictures of their family but the pictures of Crystal and Ryan I am extremely happy with.  I also had the opportunity to have one of my friends from High School come to the shoot with me. Were in band together and hadn’t seen each other in about 13 years. He is a great photographer and very good at lighting scenes. You can check out his work at www.trevororionphotography.com

Continental Airlines Technology Holiday Party 2008

Every year Continental Airlines Technology throws themselves a Holiday Party. This just so happens to be where my day job is, so I was able to take some equipment to the party and take some portraits. It was a lot of fun and I hope I get to do it next year.  I even made my way into one of the pictures.  A rarity in my blog.

Solomon Family Photos

I had a fun time today taking some family pictures of my friends the Solomons. Their son just turned 2 and their daughter turns 7 next month. This was my first time to shoot at Burroughs Park near Tomball. It was a wonderful park to shoot at. There are so many different places and old trees to take photos at. I will definitely be going back there. I also saw one of the stangest things I have seen in a long time. A MAN WALKING A SHEEP!!!! This guy showed up with a sheep in the back of his truck, took it for a walk around the track, then put it back in his truck and went home.
